The Jamboree is a 3 night show, with entertainment on every
night, as
well as the usual things you'd expect over a VW weekender.
Friday Night
Party night in the marquee with DJ.
Saturday
On Saturday there will be the usual Trade Stands in the main
arena. Richard Ready will be on hand during the afternoon to keep
the kids entertained. There will also be bouncy castles and other
children's activities. The now resident Belfast Busker will be playing
his own brand of one man Irish Folk music.
Saturday Night
Fancy Dress Party in marquee - The fancy dress theme for 2008 is
'Heroes &
Villains'. There will be a DJ and a couple of bands throughout
the
evening.
Sunday
The Show 'n' Shine competition (more details on the show 'n Shine can
be found by clicking here), Trade
Stands.
Sunday Night
Live Band.
The high point of Sunday at the Jamboree is our annual Show
n' Shine competition. There is always a fantastic selection of
cars on display. The Show 'n Shine is open to anyone, however
there is a small charge of £2 to enter. £1 of this is
used as a donation directly to our nominated charity, The Pilgramage
Trust. The other £1 will be used to cover the
administration costs of sending each entrant their judging sheets.
Class 1 - Standard Aircooled
Sedan, 1936 - 1978 (+ All Mexican Beetles).
Class 2 - Modified Aircooled Sedan, 1936 - 1978 (+ All Mexican
Beetles).
Class 3 - Standard Type 2 MK T1, Pre 1967, All Commercial &
Recreational.
Class 4 - Modified Type 2 MK T1, Pre 1967, All Commercial
& Recreational.
Class 5 - Standard Type 2 MK T2, 1968 - 1979, All
Commercial & Recreational, (+ All Brazilian Vans).
Class 6 - Modified Type 2 MK T2, 1968 - 1979, All
Commercial & Recreational, (+ All Brazilian Vans).
Class 7 - All Type 25/T3, 1980 - 1990, All Commercial & Recreational (Open
Class).
Class 8 - All T4 & T5, 1991 - To present, All Commercial & Recreational (Open
Class).
Class 9 - All Standard Watercooled Vehicles, 1973 - 1991 (J Reg).
Class 10 - All Modified Watercooled Vehicles, 1973 -
1991 (J Reg).
Class 11 - All Standard Watercooled Vehicles, (K Reg) 1991 - 2003.
Class 12 - All Modified Watercooled Vehicles, (K Reg) 1991 - 2003.
Class 13 - All 'New' Volkswagens, 2004 - To Present (5 years old or
newer).
Class 14 - Volkswagen Based Kits & Specials.
Class 15 - All Aircooled 'Rat Look' Volkswagens.
Super Class - All winners from previous

The entry and camping prices for 2008 are set out below.
Weekend
Camping & Entry (Friday Arrival): £25.00 per person.
Weekend Camping & Entry (Saturday Arrival): £20.00 per person.
Day Entry Only (no camping): £5.00 per person.
Entry & camping for Children 14 and under is free.
If you wish to book in advance, please complete and return a booking

If you wish to make a booking on
behalf of a Club or group please let
us know the approximate number of people to enable sufficient camping
room to be reserved for you. Pre-booking helps us enormously with
laying out the site - we will always do our best to camp clubs and
large groups together, as long as this is booked in advance.
Please note the deadline for all
camping pre-bookings is Friday 1st
AUGUST, all bookings received by this date will be confirmed in
writing. NO PRE-BOOKINGS
WILL BE
ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE. If you do
not book by the booking deadline, you can still just turn up and pay on
the day.

The 2008 Jamboree
attracted a diverse range traders including the likes of Status VW,
Retrodubs, Custom & Commercial, Just Kampers, Four Winds Flags and
Flyers, to name but a few. We would like to thank all the traders
for their support.
A
trade plot costs £10 for the whole weekend, this price is for the
trade plot only, camping and entry is to be paid at the standard rate
for each adult in your party.
