Never before has a vehicle had so many designations. A type 25 in the UK, a T3 in Europe and a Transporter in the USA. Not content with that we now affectionately refer to them and a Brick or a Wedge.
Building on the success of the Split Screen and the Bay Window the T25 started life as an air cooled machine making the transition to become a water cooled vehicle using the Wasserboxer 4 cylinder horizontally opposed engine.
The interior of the T25 has far more space to offer than its predecessors and personally, I prefer them to the earlier machines mainly for that reason as it makes them far more versatile.
