This is always an extremely social event with a joint BBQ on the Saturday evening

The Olympic torch is passing through Bodmin on Saturday 19th and there
will be events taking place during the afternoon in Fair Park

Not being able to camp over the weekend I visited Gwel-An-Nans on the evening of Olympic Torch day,Saturday. I arrived on the outskirts of Bodmin via the A30 and as I exited the roundabout heard on the radio that the Torch was nearly in Bodmin approaching from the other end of town but I managed to miss the chaos surrounding it!
A very enjoyable evening followed with plenty of food on I think 3 barbecues in total. Thanks to the cooks there was not too much cremation to report. Time flew and I eventually set out for home at a little after Midnight. If you did not attend you missed another successful CVWOC Family Event.
